Once you express your interest, we’ll kick off the franchise ownership process. Here’s what you can expect:

Step 1
Initial Meeting

This is the initial call between Junior Chefs of America and you, the candidate. We will get to know you, you will get to know us, and if there is a potential fit, we can take things to the next level.

TIMING: 15 min.
ITEMS TO COMPLETE: None

Step 2
Franchise Application

We will ask you to share basic information about your current financial situation, background, and experience in the culinary field and your experience with working with children to help us better understand your qualifications.

TIMING: 45 - 60 min.
ITEMS TO COMPLETE: Franchise Application

Step 3
Phone Interview

We will schedule a Zoom session to discuss the details. This meeting will allow us to spend some time reviewing your Franchise Application together and discussing your background, strengths, opportunities, and your potential fit as the newest member of Junior Chefs of America.

TIMING: 60 min.

Step 4
Discovery Process

The following items will not necessarily be completed in this order, and are all equally as important.

PROFORMA PLAN
TIMING: 30 min.

FINANCIAL / BACKGROUND VERIFICATION
TIMING: 15 min.

Step 5
Discovery Day

A discovery process at Junior Chefs of America where we show you our facility and have a transparency conversation. After spending a day with us, learning our model through videos and traning material, you’ll have the opportunity to meet our team in person to ask questions and experience the brand. This will be a one day event hosted at our Training Facility and School in Tampa, FL.

TIMING: 2 hrs. for Online Video Journey & 8 hrs. for In-Person Session

Step 6
Post Discover Day Approval

After your in-person visit we will conduct a virtual visit with Junior Chefs of America. If the JCOA’s team feels there is a mutual fit, you will be approved to open your school and we will schedule another virtual session to confirm our next steps and discuss your terrirory options and and confirm operational plans.

Step 7
Sign Franchise Agreement

Upon execution of your franchise agreement and funding you will be officially onboarded a member of the Junior Chefs of America! Look forward to our phone call shorty there after.
